Deisy Infante was born in Oriente, Cuba on December 5th, 1940. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Pouring out love and great food to the ones she held dear to her heart was of great joy to her. She was a cancer survivor, and had been cancer free for over 12 years.
Deisy affectionately known as “Godo” to her siblings, Abue” or “Mami” to her children and grandchildren was a gorgeous woman full of life and laughter. One of her favorite past times was sitting around the table playing bingo sharing stories, jokes, and a good cup of “café cubano”.
She always took pride in the way she dressed, as well as her overall appearance. Making sure to take her time until she was well put together.
She was a seamstress by trade. And continued well after retirement to make, alter and design different types of clothing.
She was very fond of plants, flowers, and helping any stray animal in need.
On February 17th the Lord called her home as she succumb to a non-cancer related illness.
She was surrounded by loved ones as praise and worship music ushered her home to be with her Lord and Savior.
She will be greatly missed, and always held in the highest of regard.
Te quiero Abuelinda.
