Dennis Desmarais Obituary

Dennis Desmarais, 74, of Barton, passed away on Sunday November 8th, 2020. He was born on September 13th, 1946 in Barton to the late Roland J. and Rose H. (Souliere) Desmarais.


Dennis loved hunting, fishing, excavating, and spending time with his beloved dog Maddie.


He is survived by his Significant other of 28 years, Barbara Meier, his 2 daughters, Laurie Bellizzi and her husband Michael and Dawn Menken and her husband Douglas, his two step daughters Deb Martel, Heather Neal and her husband Terry. He is also survived his grandchildren Anthony Bellizzi and his fiancé Jaylee Bui, Abigail Bellizzi, Marc Harding and his wife Crystal, Angela Bellizzi and her companion Billy Allen, Heidi Bellizzi and her companion Richard Sheely, Robert Menken and his companion Jennah Garrison, Brittany Menken and her companion Dillon Gile, Brooke Menken, Nakai Cusson, Drew Neal, Katie Neal, and Trevor Neal. He is also survived by his brothers Claude Desmarais and Michael Desmarais, his sisters Jackie Elliott, Mariette Metcalf, many nieces and nephews and by his best friend Douglas Miner.


He was predeceased by his brothers Robert and Roland Jr. Desmarais.


Friends may call at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home located at 37 Lake Road in Newport on Saturday November 14th, 2020 from 2:00-4:00PM.
