Dennis D. Gooding of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday morning at his home.  He was 69.

For many years, he ran Gooding’s Market with his father, and many people in and around Crawfordsville knew him from his work there.  Dennis was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and Wabash College.  He liked watching sports and gardening.  He attended New Life Apostolic Church.

Born August 17, 1956, he was the son of George Earl Gooding and Esther L. Allen Gooding.  He married Beth Ann Butler in November of 1993.  She survives.

Surviving family includes: wife, Beth Gooding of Crawfordsville; four daughters, Faith Gooding, Alyssa Gooding, Jessica Gooding, Megan Gooding of Crawfordsville; brother, David Gooding (Roberta) of Elkhart; nephew. Benjamin Gooding of Elkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Daniel Gooding.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1PM on Monday, March 30th at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 West Wabash Ave.  Services will begin at 1 PM.  After the service, he will be laid to rest at the Wallace Lutheran Cemetery.
