Dennis Grayson, Sr. of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday night at the Ben Hur Home. He was 64.
Dennis worked at Wal-Mart and was very proud of his job. He also did seasonal work for Home Depot. He spent many years collecting for MDA and supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where he was also proud of his efforts to help others. He was associated with the Special Olympics and won awards for sportsmanship. He liked to sing karaoke, play his guitar and tinker with things.
Born Feb. 7, 1955 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Bert Eugene Grayson and Norma Jean Axsom Heater. He attended school at Crawfordsville and Rossville.
Surviving family includes: two sons, Dennis Grayson, Jr. of Crawfordsville, Allen Grayson of New Market; daughter, Amy Grayson of Indianapolis; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Roudebush and Glenda Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM Sunday, Nov. 24th at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville. Cremation will take place after the visitation.
