1967 - 2021

Derrick Andre Bell of Springfield, Illinois passed away Wednesday October 6th, at his home. Mr. Bell was born February 17th 1967 in Chicago Illinois to the parents of Gracie Johnson, and Isaiah Bell. 

Mr.Bell moved from Chicago, to Jacksonville Illinois in 1978, where he attended Lincoln elementary school. Mr.Bell returned back to Chicago in 1986 and graduated from Farrgut High School. 

Mr.Bell loved cooking while jamming to his house music. He would always yell PEACE when he was getting off the phone with you.  When his nephews were younger, he would take them to the car shows, and even took him on their first bus ride.  

He was preceded in death by: his parents; Gracie Johnson and Isaiah Bell.

Mr.Bell is survived by his 3 children; Isiah Maberry, of Springfield Illinois, Miranda Bell, of Springfield Illinois and Alaina Bell of North Carolina. 2 grandchildren; Zaedyn Maberry and Jordan Robinson. 3 sisters; Ola Hammers,Carolyn Daniels and Patrica Buckner, 3 brothers; Rickey Isaiah Bell, Kevin Miller, and Christ Bell, Mr.Bell also had a very close bond with his niece, 2 Nieces; Carrie Jackson, Kayla Johnson and his Daughter in law; Hailey Derry. He loved all his nieces and nephews, he had a unique relationship with each one.
