DONALD “BIG DON” BARTCHAK, age 87; beloved husband of MaryAnn (nee Smajdek) for 65 years; loving father of Deborah Von Alt (Joe), Jeannie Verzi (John), Bob Bartchak (Terri) and Rick Bartchak; dearest grandfather of Sarah Reynolds (Travis), Brent Bartchak, Blake Bartchak (deceased), Brittany Bartchak and Dominic Verzi; step-grandfather of Jeanette Bratcher (Justin), Johnny Verzi and Joshua Verzi (Val); great-grandfather of Maddox, Greyson, Gabby, Gena, Maddie, Mackenzie, Ava, Emma and Joshua; brother of Mildred Kmiecik and the late Dorothy Kowall, Edward Bartchak and Nancy Donelan; uncle and friend of many. Don was a proud U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and was a well-known car salesman for many years. He was dedicated to his family, loved cars, music and food. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, www.greaterclevelandfoodbank.org. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. Fr. Bob Stec officiating. Friends received in church, Tuesday from 10:30-11 a.m. masks and social distancing required.

Donald was such an amazing man and I was honored to have taken care of him and inl the little time I known him he has really grown on me he was my right hand man and I will forever be his TOOTS he would say "Hey Toots come here and give me a big smooch " all I can say is I love Big Don and his amazing family the whole gang will Truly be missed I love u all and to my man Big Don I will never forget u I love u my baby .....
