I will miss your kind words of wisdom and your soft heart . I will always keep you in my heart and I will always have the memories . Donald Dean Reiler of Natalia, TX. A decorated Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force passed away peacefully on July 1, 2018. Born on September 14, 1941 he was the son of the late Julian Donald Reiler and Ruby Mae Reiler.Mr. Reiler is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Wanda Reiler. Two sons Darryl Reiler and his wife Aurora, Shawn Reiler and his wife Janie. One brother Robert Reiler. Five Grandchildren, David Reiler and his wife Season. Silver Lane and her husband Josh. Adonis Reiler and his wife Madelyn, Clint Reiler and Joe Garcia and his wife Desiree. Eleven Great – Grandchildren and many more relatives and loved ones. He is proceeded in death by his brother Tommy and his Sister Linda.Mr. Reiler enlisted in the United States Air Force on September 30, 1960. Mr. Reiler worked as a Structural Technician for 26 years. During his time of service, he was awarded many medals and ribbons some of which include, Humanitarian Service medal with two numerals, Meritorious Service medal, AF Commendation medal with oak leaf cluster, Vietnam Service medal with one service star, Vietnam Campaign medal and Airforce overseas long and short tour ribbons. After retiring from Active Duty in 1986, Mr. Reiler served 20 years working Civil Service before retiring in 2007. Donald’s caring devotion to family and service to this great nation have left a lasting influence which will not soon be forgotten.Donald will be laid to rest with full military honors, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10:45am.Viewing service will be held at Texas Funeral Home, 2702 Castroville Rd. San Antonio, Tx 78237.
