Donna Lariviere

1955 - 2025

Donna R. Lariviere (Stinton), 69, of Bird Island, MN, and formerly of Le Mars, IA, passed away January 8, 2025, at the Centra Care - St. Cloud Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation with the family present will begin at noon at the funeral home on Saturday, February 1, 2025. A burial will be held in the spring of 2025.

Donna was born August 3, 1955, in Iowa City, to parents Betty and Lyle Stinton. She attended Le Mars Community High School in Le Mars, Iowa. In 1974, Donna started her journey as a mother and went on to have three sons: James, Jonny and Jeff.  In the early 90's, Donna met Dave in Elk Point, SD. She later moved to Bird Island, MN with Dave, where they lived for almost 30 years together.

Donna enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Donna and Dave spent several winters in Texas. Donna held a special place in her heart for her dogs all her life.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Betty; Jerome Manderscheid (father of Dave Manderscheid); brothers and sisters: Dick, Gene, Pamela and Brenda; and nephew, Richard.

She is survived by her significant other, Dave Manderscheid and his mother Rosie; sons: James, Jonny, Jeff (Tiffini); grandchildren: Tyler (Kassandra), Taylor, Trevor, Breyawna, Kylee, Kaden, Adalynn, Hadley, Kyler, Macii and Levi; great grandchildren: Skylar, Ahti, Oakley, Keaton and Malcom; brothers and sisters: Mike (Pat), Lynda (Jay), Gloria, Larry (Kerri), David (Sheena); several nieces, nephews, additional extended family and countless friends who loved her dearly.
