Donna L. Straugh

1953 - 2025

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Lee Straugh, who left us peacefully on March 4, 2025 at the age of 71.
Born on September 8, 1953, in Chicago Illinois, Donna lived a life filled with family, love, and compassion. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she cherished the roles she played in her family's lives, always offering support, kindness, and unconditional love.
Donna was the epitome of grace and warmth. Her family meant the world to her, and she spent countless hours creating lasting memories with her children and grandchildren. Whether it was playing at the park with her grandchildren or cheering them on at sports and competitions to celebrating birthdays and holidays, she had a special way of making everyone feel at home and loved.
She had an unwavering faith, which guided her throughout her life. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her infectious smile, and the gentle wisdom she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Donna was preceded in death by Harold Gates Schaibley and Mary Dolores Schaibly. She is survived by her loving husband William Straugh, her children Jessica (Patrick), Michael (Miranda) and Scott (Linsey) and her grandchildren Alex, James, Liam, Bradley, Madison, Makenzie, Aiden and Maci.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 12:15 pm at Becker's Funeral Home. 
She will forever remain in our hearts, and we take comfort knowing that her love will continue to guide us. Rest in peace, Mom, and thank you for a lifetime of love and wisdom.
