Donna Truman, 68, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away at home on January 18, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026 at Cashion Baptist Church in Burkburnett with Rev. Gary Hibbs officiating.
She was born in Somers Point, New Jersey on July 21, 1957 to Robert G and Josephine Mason.
Donna attended Absegami High School and while in high school she started working for McDonalds at the age of 16. She married William A. Truman in 1976 and they had two children, Jeanette and William. She met Richard Chancellor in 2003 and they had been together for 22 years. Richard was with her throughout her cancer diagnosis and took care of her until her passing.
She was a talkative, extroverted and giving person and made an entire career out of caring for and mentoring others. Her time at McDonalds saw so many young people grow and become managers. She would give you the shirt off her back, the food in her hand, and her last dollar. She leaves behind so many people that were changed by knowing her. She loved her friends and her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother William E. Mason; brother-in-law Roger Chancellor; mother-in-law Marjorie Sipple Truman; mother and father-in-law Daisy and Elmer Chancellor; and grandparents Laura and Joseph Self.
Donna is survived by her mother; spouse Richard Chancellor; children Jeanette Perry and husband Shane, and their children Rhiannon and Meagan, William Truman and wife Kim, and their children Andrew, Asher, and Aiden; step-daughter and son-in-law Maranda and Kevin Richardson, and their children Alivia, Nathan, and Caleb; step-son Jimmy Chancellor, and his children Ethan and Zachary; and sister-in-law Brenda Shepard and husband Donnie.
