Dorothy Ann Cederquist

1930 - 2025

Dorothy Cederquist, 95, of Dearborn, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2025.

Dorothy was a devoted mother who welcomed everyone with warmth and became a beloved “second mom” to many of her children’s friends. She was the oldest of five siblings—Katy, Ruth, Nancy, and Don—and leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter Kristine (Sean) Mikaelian and son Colin (Debbie) Cederquist; grandchildren Michelle (Bhavin) and Derrick; and great-grandchildren Kayleigh and Devyn. Dorothy retired from Henry Ford Hospital. She loved sewing—sometimes completing an evening gown in a single night—attending plays, and volunteering at Greenfield Village during the holidays. She also enjoyed adventures with her son-in-law, from bird hunting and sushi lunches to occasional Harley rides. In keeping with her wishes, no service will be held. Dorothy will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
