Dorothy Waguespack Obituary
Dorothy “Dottie” Waguespack, 97, a longtime resident of Lacombe, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana.
Dottie was born December 7, 1927, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Frederick and Lilly Liberto.
In 1947 she married Everett Waguespack in New Orleans. After Everett retired the couple moved to Lacombe in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Waguespack Sr.
She is survived by four children, Everett Waguespack Jr., Rene Waguespack (Joanne), Yvette Waguespack, Denise Hancey (James); five grandchildren, Kyle Waguespack, Devin Waguespack, John Olivard, Rob Perkins, Colin Hancey; three great-grandchildren, Reece Waguespack, Fox Waguespack, Wren Waguespack.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61030 Briar Lake Drive, Lacombe LA 70445, on Friday, December 5, 2025.
Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
Burial of ashes will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
