Dorothy “Dottie” R. Welsh, died peacefully on Saturday April 18, 2020. She was 93.
Lifelong resident of Lambertville Dottie graduated from Lambertville High School, Centenary College and earned her teaching degree from Lebanon Valley College. She taught school at the Stockton Elementary School until retiring to raise a family. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Solebury Twp. Pa., and a longtime volunteer with the Delaware Valley Food Pantry. She also was a member of Elks Lodge 1070, the Young Men’s Athletic Club Ladies Auxiliary and the Delaware Valley Senior Citizens’ Club.
Daughter of the late George R. Kline Sr., and Ada Mary Reading Kline, she was predeceased by her husband of 62 years Michael “Mingle” Welsh, sisters Helen R. Kline and Elizabeth Kline and a brother George R. Kline, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Beth Schermerhorn and her husband Jeffrey, and two grandchildren, whom she adored, Jeffrey and Meghan Schermerhorn.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the Garefino Funeral Home in Lambertville.

So very sad to hear of Dotties passing . She was such a wonderful,fun, pleasant person. I always loved spending time w her. SO VERY SAD

So sorry to hear of Dottie's passing. She was always one to bring a smile to my face. You can just imagine what she was like at our parent/teacher conferences.
