DOUGLAS W. MOUNTCASTLE Obituary
DOUGLAS W. MOUNTCASTLE, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on October 9, 2025. Beloved father of Nick (Lauren), Kraissa (fiancé Alex ), and Corey Douglas. Proud grandfather of Makay, Alexa, Luca, Carter, and Izabelle. Cherished son of Sharon (née Beauchamp) and the late Donald S. Mountcastle Sr. Loving brother of Ken (Sharon), the late David, Lori Marshall (and the late David), Donald Jr. (and the late Dawn), Timothy, and Daniel (Deanna). Dear uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.
Doug will also be deeply missed by his loyal companion, his dog Minnie.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet for a Celebration of Life Service SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26, AT 1 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of BEREA, 86 ADALBERT ST. (OFF OF FRONT ST., LOCATED IN THE POLISH VILLAGE HISTORIC DISTRICT) where friends may call SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26, 12 NOON UNTIL THE TIME OF SERVICE. A reception immediately following the service will be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Berea Animal Rescue, 10015 E. River Rd., Columbia Station, OH 44028.

Doug and I went aways back, from St. Mary's thru B. S.H. Although I kept tabs on him, through mutual friends, we never re-connected in our adult lives. Now we never will. Prayers and support to all who shared his love.

I will miss your kind heart, your one of a kind smile, your memorable laugh and your insanely funny stories. Uncle Doug you sure were the life of the party. And boy did we have some parties.
