Dr. McClellan was Man about God's work, he lead the church and was a strong bridge for us for 40 years, the last time I saw him, he prayed for the church even when he was sick. He was supportive of me and my family in many ways. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. To the Family I want to THANK YOU for sharing his life with us at Westminster Presbyterian Church, we loved him and will miss him, and his spirit will be with us because of his faith, what he taught us about God's Love and his deeds. I met Dr. McClellan as a very young man on my 2nd job in public relations. He was kind, very professional, but open to inquiry. I didn't stay at VSU very long, but I never forgot him. It speaks volumes about the power of being nice to people. That's a legacy I would want. Like many others, I feel a sense of loss with this good man passing and offer my condolences to his family.
