In loving memory of a wonderful father, husband, and grandpa. I fondly remember all of the stories Fran has shared about your life of works, generosity, and caring for your family. An amazing father and grandfather who will live on through your children and grandchildren. May God receive you at His Throne and may the Holy Spirit comfort the Salia family during their time of grieving.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I met Charlie many years ago when he visited Ireland with my aunt Margaret. I recall his gentle and kind manner yet huge presence. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

We met Charlie through Margaret Murray, his bride. In fact, some of us remember her concern before their first date that she might actually love a man whose ambition was to retire to a sheep ranch! Margaret did fall in love with him, and he with her. And they've stayed in love for this half-century.

We think of Charlie now primarily as a family man. His deep, unwavering love for his wife and daughters gave him the strength to accept and even embrace the unexpected turns in this journey called life. He enjoyed the reciprocal love of every individual in his daughters' families.

The world was blessed to have Charlie Salia.

My heart goes out to you all. He was like a second Dad to me and Jen growing up. I always remember him working in his shed, tending to the property, his amazing gardening skills, his endless supply of knowledge, his kind and tender demeanor, and always a smile. He will be greatly missed. He will live on in your memories. May God give you strength during your time of grief.
