Obituary

Earl's Obituary

Earl Joyce Townsend, age 23, got his wings early and was called home to be with the other Angels Sunday January 10, 2016.

A loving father, son, friend, and brother. EJ to friends, Earl Joyce Townsend III and (Nute to all his family members) born August 22, 1992 to Earl Townsend Jr and Zonda Townsend. From Detroit Michigan. Migrated to Texas in June of 2007. He graduated from The Colony High School in 2010, and attended Collin County Community College.

He became a proud parent in 2014, though scared at first of doing everything correct, once he laid eyes on his son he became attached to him. EJ loved to spending time with his son Carter, loving and taking care of him just having fun and being around him, teaching him everything he could.

Earl was the first born of three children. Earl leaves behind his only son (our Prince) Carter Xavier Townsend, mother Zonda Townsend, father Earl Townsend Jr, sisters Tenniqua Amber Townsend, and Jazmin Sierra Townsend of Anna Texas. Sister Jovonne Marie Townsend who reside in Michigan. Grandfathers Earl Townsend Sr. and Byron Steen of Detroit Michigan. Grandmothers Nancy Townsend and Joyce Steen of Detroit Michigan. Aunt Ontario Nash of Anna Texas, Uncle Clarence Nash of Anna Texas, Uncle Phillip Townsend and Aunt Shaquita Townsend of Detroit Michigan, Aunt Chantele Steen of Detroit Michigan and cousin’s Tyler, Taylor, Destiny Nash, Brooke’Lynn Guider, Phillip Jr, Jalen, Cameron, Ramel, Paris Townsend

EJ also leaves behind a fleet of great uncles, aunts, cousins and friends that truly loved him.

I only have a picture now, a frozen piece of time, to remind me of how it was, when you were here, and mine. I see your smiling eyes, each morning when I wake, I talk to you, and place a kiss, upon your lovely face. How much I miss you being here, I really cannot say, the ache is deep inside my heart, and never goes away. I hear it mentioned often, that time will heal the pain, but if I'm being honest, I hope it will remain. I need to feel you constantly, to get me through the day, I love you so very much, Why did you go away? The angels came and took you, which really wasn't fair, they took my one and only Son, My future life. My heir. If only they had asked me, if I would take your place, I would have done so willingly, leaving you this world to grace. You should have had so many years, to watch your life unfold, and in the mist of this, watch us, your Parents grow old together! I hope you're watching from above, at the daily tasks I do, and let there be no doubt at all.

We really do love you and will always miss you.

A piece of hearts is known in HEAVEN!
