Eddie L. Grogg
Age 71, of Alliance, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025. He was born March 6, 1954 in Canton to the late William and Frances (Brothers) Grogg.  He worked in the oil field and retired from Republic Steel. He is a member of the Minerva VFW Aux. #4120. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, his love for them was immeasurable. He also loved to spend his time outdoors golfing or fishing. 
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet (Secrest) Grogg who he married Aug. 9, 1972, 2 daughters, Michele (Jeremy) Groff of Alliance, Mindy (Fiancé, Dustin Minor) Monte of Minerva, son, Michael (Amanda) Grogg of Minerva, a step-brother, Charles Grogg, 5 grandchildren; Landon, Alexis, Mikala Grogg, Charleigh and Quinton Trussel. He is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Kathy Rhodes, Carla Grogg, Karen Arnold, 4 brothers, Freddie, Joseph, William and Chris Grogg.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Danny Crowe officiating.  Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at Eddie’s favorite fishing hole on Saturday September 13, 2025 at 1pm. Food, drinks and bait will be provided, Please join us. Bring your pole and fondest memories to-
