Funeral Services: Will be held immediately after the Viewing and Visitation on July 13, 2016 at 11:00:00 a.m.; all services will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 2036 W. 79th Street Chicago, Illinois 60620.
Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

Her smile was everything to me. If she was here today along with my mother, life along with God's love would be so comforting. I miss you both so much! I hope you both are having a wonderful heavenly birthday !

It was always a pleasure to see her beautiful smile, and her spirit was very genuine. If she was still here along with my mom things would be a lot better to bare.

I met Ms. Boyd briefly during a hospital stay. We shared a room for a few days, and chatted through the curtain that separated our beds. In those few days, her kindness, her spirit, and her love for life touched me deeply. Through her example, she helped me to evaluate my own situation and illness. I had been thinking about her, wondering how she was doing and came upon her obituary. She was one of those people that you come upon in life just when you need to. My heartfelt condolences to the family of this beautiful lady.
