Services: Funeral services for Mr. Edward (T-Man) Lockwood, Sr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Starlight Baptist Church in Marksville with Rev. Van Keith Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
Visitation: Visitation will be held at Starlight Baptist Church in Marksville on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services
Mr. Lockwood, age 90, a resident of Marksville, passed away at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville on Thursday, June 3, 2010. He was a WWII army veteran, serving as a machine gunner light from 17 November 1942 to 12 November 1945.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Netha McIntosh Lockwood of Marksville, 2 sons, Edward Lockwood Jr. of Alexandria, Harold Lockwood & wife Janice of Hessmer, 4 daughters, Stella Bonton & husband Lonest, Sr. of Marksville, Shirley Lockwood Hawkins of Alexandria, Velma Lockwood of Marksville, Shantelle Lockwood of Pineville, 1 sister, Thelma Conway of Marksville, 9 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Lonest Bonton, Jr., Gabriel Bonton, Myron Bonton, Christopher Lockwood, Edward Lockwood III & Anzell Jones.
