CLINTON: Edward F. Rouleau, 83, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 in UMASS Memorial Hospital – University Campus, Worcester, after being stricken ill at home. He has been reunited with his beloved wife of 62 years, Ann M. (Savage) Rouleau, who passed away on March 6, 2024.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Vento & husband Joseph of Clinton, Robert Rouleau & wife Eloa of Lancaster, Sharon Vargas & husband Alex of Templeton, William Rouleau of Clinton and Michael Rouleau & wife Christine of Athol; his brother, Paul Rouleau & wife Claire of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren, Kyle, Craig and Stefanie Silvio, April and Debra Dufresne, Kelsey Bachta, Kaitlyn and Edward Rouleau, Daniel and Raquel De Souza, Michael, Rebecca, Jared and Ashley Rouleau; 12 great-grandchildren, Andrew Northway, Kaelan, Brendan and Austin Silvio, Weston, Parker, Tanner, Kristina, and Dalton Turini, Edward Eaton III, Calum Silvio and Ivyann Phyllis Duggan; and a great great-granddaughter, Charlotte Northway. He was predeceased by his brothers, Albert, Walter and Francis Rouleau; and his sisters, Irene Nikitas, Ruth Andriski, and Jeanette Kelley.
Ed was born in Clinton, son of the late Charles & Medora (LaPlante) Rouleau. He graduated from Ralph C. Mahar High School in Orange. Ed worked as a machinist in several local companies, retiring from Automatic Assemblies Company. He also completed certificate programs in the areas of machinery and robotics. Ed enjoyed playing golf, fly fishing, building plane models and vacationing with his family in Bridgton, Maine.
Calling hours will be held from 9:30AM until 11AM on MONDAY, JULY 1, 2024 in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton.
