Remembering Elizabeth from the time when I first met her as a toddler in Atlanta Georgia, a tiny sprite of a child; through her teens when our families reunited in Connecticut and she was already a young woman with such a strong sense of self. Her love of her animals and the earth and gardening were in evidence even then. I have enjoyed her blogs from the farm and they have brought laughter and light to my life. She was a talented writer, with no regard for punctuation, giving her tales the feeling of an intimate and casual conversation. I have treasured that and I will miss her witty commentary on life, her dogs, and politics.
To Ann Dick, Dave and Katy, I send my love, hope, and fond rememberance of this awesone woman.

There is comfort in remembering how EB grew up knowing she was loved by her parents and family and friends. She had a sharp mind, a grand personality, a strong center. It is an honor to have known her.
Peace and light and love to all those she leaves behind.

I was privileged to get to know Elizabeth when I worked for Mohawk - she helped train me and was a pleasure to know. It is so sad that she was taken so young. My thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time - RIP Elizabeth
