Elizabeth JoAnn Moore, 91, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026. She was born in Marion County on August 19, 1934, a daughter of the late Bazil Morris and Grace Eddy Morris.

JoAnn was Methodist by faith and was an avid reader. She enjoyed baking, especially cookies, and cooking.

JoAnn is survived by her sons, James Moore and David (Fonda) Moore, both of Ripley; grandchildren, Chelsea (James) Miller and Logan Moore; and great grandchildren, Caroline Miller and Sawyer Miller.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Royal “Measle” Moore; and siblings, Wayne Morris and Belindine McCoy.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home-Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Fred Eddy officiating.
