That's my carnal's daughter, I don't mind one more daughter." Para mi fue un momento inolvidable.

Tio, gracias por enriquecer mi vida. Te llevo en mi corazon.

Papa Wito,

My favorite moments were always getting to travel to see you and grandma in Indiana and you always taking me for a ride on the tractor around the yard.

I loved to travel because of that and I got to live my dreams of experiencing that while doing what I wanted to do as a kid. You showed me that life has hard work but it pays off.

You are the strongest and hardest working man I’ve ever had the pleasure of being family with. You taught me to never stop working at what I wanted and I can achieve it while also laying back and enjoying life.

It really won’t be the same without you but I’m glad to know I was showing you I could do anything and making you proud.

“ Though I'm gone, gone
You don't have to worry, no
Long as I can see the light”

May the sun always shine on you

My Tío Nino,
I am so lucky to have had the best uncle and godfather I could have asked for. You were there for every milestone in my life. And through you, I learned what unconditional love truly looks like-loving people fully, without expecting anything in return.
You also taught me to appreciate life's simple moments. One of the things I will always remember about you...is how much you loved food. You taught me to savor every meal-and the moments that came with it. You were always the first one served....and somehow the one to finish. Because you weren't just enjoying the food-you were enjoying the conversation, the laughter, and the family around the table.
You showed me what sacrifice looks like, and what it means to truly put family first. Your greatest joy was when the family was together.
I'll always remember the traditions that made you who you were-tequila shots with family, serenading us with your favorite songs, and of course...your famous chorizo con huevo y papas with that unforgettable salsa roja.
I remember you picking me up on Fridays so I could bond with my cousins and end those weekends with a trio to IHOP or you would surprise us with Foster Donuts and gallons of milk.
And those trips to TJ...you always made space for me. You always made sure I felt included and loved. You were a man of tradition. A man of family. And a man whose deep laughter filled every room you walked into.
I admired the way you loved and took care of my mom. People called you El Sobre y La Estampilla.
You were also the king of nicknames-and that legacy lives on through your children.
Tío Nino...thank you for your love, your guidance and the beautiful memories that will stay with me forever.
And your spirit will live on every time our family gathers,
every time we share a meal,
every time we laugh loudly
and every time we remember you.
Te quiero siempre, querido Tío Nino.

Happy 70th Birthday

To my loving Grandpa,

It feels like just yesterday we were kids playing in the snow at the Indiana house spending summers and winters there and just having a blast. Life is going to be hard without you, but you showed me what hard work and dedication truly look like. You worked hard your entire life, from the very beginning to the very end.

You showed me strength and resilience. You taught me how to be tough and to never give up in work, in life, and in myself. You were always so proud of me, no matter if it was something big or small. Your smile, your laugh, your hugs, and the way you would bless us when we were leaving will be deeply missed. The last conversation we had, you told me to live life to the fullest. That’s something I will always remember and continue to do in honor of you and for myself.

We will always be Henry’s angels, but you will forever be my guardian angel. I will continue to make you proud every day.

Love you forever and always
Cassandra

It’s been 34 years since I asked for your daughter’s hand in marriage, and it feels like it was just yesterday. From that moment on, you welcomed me into the family and became like a father figure to me. Your guidance and support helped shape me into the man I am today.
As my family grew, you were always there, ready to help in any way you could. Whether it was traveling together, celebrating birthdays, or simply gathering for barbecues, those moments meant so much to all of us. Your presence always made a difference in everyone’s life.
Although you are no longer with us, your memory will always live on in our hearts. I will honor you by celebrating the life you lived and by continuing to support and care for your family in any way I can.
Thank you for the love, the lessons, and the example you set for all of us. You will always be missed, always remembered, and never forgotten. Rest in peace.
