Erin Marie Avis

1987 - 2026

Mrs. Erin Marie Avis (nee: Denson) of Warrenton, MO, passed away on March 25, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1987 in St. Louis, Mo, to David and Mary Denson (nee: McKeever). Erin had reached the age of 39 years.

Erin was united in marriage to Jonah "Joe" Avis on May 16, 2007 at Montego Bay, Jamaica. They celebrated 18 wonderful years together. Erin was a wonderful wife and mother. She adored her children and loved every minute of being a Mom. She was very close with her family and enjoyed spending time with them as well as her close friends. She worked in the food service industry for several years and loved her job at the Warren County High School. Erin loved to bake and cook meals for her family and friends. She had a natural talent for organizing events and her friends and family loved it when she was in charge. Erin was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a kind and loving soul and will be greatly missed.

Erin Avis is survived by her loving husband, Joe; three children, Noah, Belle and Elsa; her parents, David and Mary Denson; two siblings, David Denson and  Kathleen Meredith and husband Phelan;  father and mother in-law, Ben and Becky Avis; sister in-laws, Dorothy McClure and Gloria McDonnell; other relatives and many friends.
