Erwin Jalufka Obituary
A graveside service for Mr. Erwin Otto Jalufka, age 95, of Schulenburg, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Schulenburg City Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the Schulenburg American Legion Post 143.
Erwin is survived by his nephews, Larry and Carol Pavlicek, Milton and Ann Marek, Paul and Tina Marek, Edward Marek, Eugene and Angie Pavlicek; nieces, Jeanette and Stanley Kubenka, Jennifer Marek, Jayne and RB McEntire, Janice Marek, Katherine Jalufka, Judy Jalufka; 16 great nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; 4 nephews; and 2 nieces.
Erwin will be remembered for working on his farm, playing dominoes and cards with his friends, and sitting around drinking a cool one.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice.

A brilliant domino player well remembered in Engle from Henry Machac's, Chudej's, and Ben' s Store back in the '50s. A gentleman with longevity at REST! God Bless.
