Eugene Johnson Obituary

  Eugene Allen “Bud” Johnson, age 65, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at his home.  He was born September 29, 1960 in Logan, West Virginia to the late James Johnson and Hazel Blankenship Conley.  In years past, Bud enjoyed hunting and fishing.  But more recently, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandkids.  Bud is survived by his wife of 41 years, Paula Triplett Johnson; children, Joshua (Amber) Johnson, Julie Andrews, James Johnson, Jesse (Rikki) Johnson and Jessica (Brian) Boswell; siblings, Joe Blankenship, Brenda Sizemore and Ronald Conley; grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Chevelle, Nichole, Leah, Macenzie, Brayden, Levi, Liam, Gabriel, James, Braylee, Jessaleigh, Emmerly, Gage, Briar and Kamdon; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his sisters, Joan Mullins and Debbie White.  Calling hours will be Monday, March 30, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rob Ervin Officiating.
