Debbie, Rick & Chuck, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories growing up playing quoits with your mom, getting homemade popcorn balls for trick-or-treat, and seeing all the wonderful things she grew in her garden or made on her knitting loom. You are in my thoughts and prayers

Evelyn, "Mom", was a human dynamo. In her small frame she packed near tireless energy and unexpected strength. Through hard work and determination She accomplished many amazing things including running Her own business and becoming a true artisan on the knitting machine.
On occasion Mom would be asked "Have you lived in the area your entire life". She would get a tiny little smile and say " not yet" , And then being a private person would ask "Are you writing a book ?". Well Mom, yes today we are writing a book and it is filled with admiration for all your accomplishments and appreciation for all you did for so many.
With more love than I can express.
Your son.
Rick
