Evelyn Montecupo Obituary
Evelyn “Dolly” Montecupo, 93, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at her residence. She was born January 29, 1933, in Claridge Pa., a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Persichetti) Carnera. Dolly was a member of the Ascension Church in Jeannette, SNPJ Lodge in Herminie, and a member of the VFW Post #33 and its Ladies Auxiliary of Greensburg.
In addition to her parents Dolly was predeceased by her husband James Montecupo in 2008; a son Gary Guidas; brothers, Robert “Bobby”, and Andrew “Sonny” Carnera; and sisters, Dolores Eberts, Lena Carnera, and Sylvia Tremper.
She is survived by her children, Diana Disso of Greensburg, Ronald Hutchison of Derry, Robert Hutchison, Connie Jo Guidas, and George Montecupo, all of Greensburg, and Mary Jo Jackson of Youngwood; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Thomas “Rudy” Carnera (Lavonne), of Asotin WA., James Carnera of Tampa FL., and Joseph Carnera of Greensburg; sisters, Donna Norris (Richard), of OH., and Barbara Yeckel of Irwin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 4 to 7pm Wednesday in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd St. Jeannette. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10am Thursday in the Ascension Church with Fr. Job Foote, OSB, as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Hempfield Twp.
