Evelyn was a delightful and wonderfully kind person. Evie, as some of us called her, was also a very energetic and reliable volunteer on Rauscher Farm, town-owned conservation and recreational property in Clinton. She was always on the lookout for and would report back on seasonal updates, such as when migrating birds arrived on Clamshell Pond; or when the Pink Lady Slippers came into bloom. And she was always ready to help out in other ways, especially with children's programs, such as the annual StoryWalk. Evie's Rauscher Farm volunteer chums will miss her greatly. (Fingers crossed, I'm going to try and post a photo of her on Rauscher Farm.) On a personal note, I hold in my heart the sweet phone calls that she always ended with, "Love you."

Evelyn was an active and valued member of the Clinton Greenway Conservation Trust for many years. We appreciated her enthusiasm and thoughtful input at both our board and membership meetings. She loved hiking on the many wooded trails in Clinton and also volunteered her time in many ways from clean-up efforts to bringing cookies. We miss her beautiul soul greatly. May her memory be a blessing and inspiration to her family.

Evelyn was a sweet person who would never harm a fly. I hope that finally she may rest in peace.

Prayers for the family of my dear friend Evelyn. Pen friends for 63 years. A friendship I treasured even though we lived thousands of miles apart. Will be missed but will remain forever in my heart. Rest in peace my beautiful friend. xxx
