Farris Blevins Obituary
Farris “Curly” Gene Blevins age 74, of Eubank, KY, passed away from this life to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
Farris was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on November 14, 1951, to the late Lesley and Wilma Blevins. He was united in marriage to the love of his life Fonnie Blevins on October 8, 1977. He was a member of Eubank Baptist Church. He retired from Crane Plumbing and also worked for Weddle Enterprises. He was a farmer, loved to watch sports, and above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Fonnie Blevins; two sons Greg and (Nicole) Blevins of Somerset, KY, and Dustin and (Jana) Blevins of Eubank, KY; as well as one daughter Heidi and (Alan) Hubble also of Eubank. He leaves behind seven grandchildren, Allie Blevins, Addison Blevins, Bentley Blevins, Chloe Hubble, Ansley Blevins, Willa Hubble, and Caselynn Hubble.
He is also survived by one sister, Marsha and (Bill) Mounce of Eubank, KY; four brothers, Denny and (Teresa) Blevins of Marion, Indiana, Danny and (Linda) Blevins, Dennis and (Debbie) Blevins, and Tommy and (Sheri) Blevins; and one uncle, Vernon “Doc” Blevins all of Eubank, KY. He also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Lesley and Wilma Blevins.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Herd and Bro. William Brown officiating. Burial will be at Pulaski Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland in memory of Farris Blevins.

Farris and his siblings met weekly as often as time permitted strengthen their commitment to each other sharing breakfast. My prayers go with my Brother-in-law Dennis, I want the Fonnie and his whole Family and my Sister Debbie to know their love, devotion to each other was noticed, respected because I too share with in your loss. Fonnie (and family), I simply don’t have words to express my sorrow for all of you. I can remember (from our work days together) how you “adored” Farris. You could see the love you had for him in your conversations. I hear his passing was quick and I am sure took you all by surprise. Please accept my sincere condolences. My prayer is that God will wrap His arms around you and comfort you as only He can. I will keep you all in my prayers.

So sorry for your loss. Elaine (Hargis) Whitson former school mate, rode Troy Keith's bus with all the children , lived next to his Grandparents (Blevins). Hubert Hargis my father.
