Faye Laverne Locke (Gray), aged 89, passed away on February 10, 2026, in England, Arkansas. Born on July 23, 1936, in Roe, Arkansas, Faye grew up as the only daughter of six children and graduated from Clarendon High School.
Faye met Bobby Glenn Locke Sr at the age of 13 at the local skating rink and they married when she was 15, on January 6, 1952. They moved to Memphis for a short time and while there had Bobby and Carol. They returned to Clarendon in 1959 and had Sharon. Faye had a fulfilling career, dedicating 20 years to Sanyo before retiring from Riceland Foods after 18 years of service to care for her beloved husband, Bob.
Faye at the age of 13 accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Clarendon, where she engaged deeply with her faith community. Her hobbies reflected her love for the outdoors, springtime being her favorite. She spent countless hours in her yard, mowing and planting flowers, and managed her rental property, building lasting friendships with her renters. Her hands-on approach to life was inspired by her husband’s craftsmanship, which she cherished deeply.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and endurance, survived by her brothers, Dr. Robert "Bob" Gray of Jacksonville, FL, Gerald "Jerry" Gray and his wife Ronnie of Murfreesboro, TN, and Sanford Sandy Gray and his wife, Cathy of Michigan. Her children, Bobby Glenn Locke Jr. and his wife Dejuan and Sharon Caldwell, along with her grandchildren, Kim Simpson, Jason King, Bobbie Lynn Steeland, and Paige Ford, and her great-grandchildren, Zachary, Garrett, Dalton, Jaden, Heidi, Hadlee, Donald Glenn, Austin, and Madyson, will fondly remember her nurturing spirit. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Glenn Locke Sr.; her parents, Green Perry Gray and Mary Elizabeth Scott Gray; her daughter Carol Warner and granddaughter Erica Simpson, brothers, Perry Edward Gray, and Paul E. Gray.
Faye’s memory will also be cherished by her special feline companion, Callie, who was a constant source of joy in her life. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, as she made a lasting impact through her kindness, resilience, and the beautiful spaces she created and maintained with love.

Mrs. Faye was a special lady to our family. She will never be forgotten for the love she shared. She could work circles around anyone keeping up with lawn care. Prayers for the family at this time of your loss.
