She is also survived by numerous loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers.

Following cremation visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. My deepest sympathy and condolences to Bill and his family. I will always be indebted to Bill and Frances for many years of employment at the Green Barn during my high school and college years. I would not have been able to afford college without their kindness and support. May Frances rest in peace in God's eternal grace.

Frances, my good friend and mentor was a woman of character and conviction. Her bark was loud, her bite ever so gentle. She was kindhearted to all and loyal as well; especially to those near and dear.... we have lost one of the GREATEST women Salem has ever known! Her memories will live on forever. God bless you Bill, Carl and Gus. May you share many loving memories and laughs as well.
