Our God Opened the gates of heaven for Frances B. Krivanec on May 23, 2021. She was born on February 6 1921 to the late Stanislaus and Catherine Gasior, and she lived to be a joyful 100 Years.
She had retired as a Health Care worker from Middlesex Hospital and had been employed there for over 30 years. She had been an active member of the Ladies Guild at St. Rose Church in Meriden where by she worked at various events such as bingo, fund raising suppers, and many other activities. Frances enjoyed traveling, bingo, crafts, knitting, crocheting, reading, the penny slot machines at the casino and word search puzzles. What she loved most was caring and spending as much time as she could with her great-granddaughter Julia Cavalier. Julia was the joy of her life. Frances also cherished the memories of her four other great-grandchildren, Imani, Nazir, Malik, and Kamura. Even though they lived in North Carolina they were not far from her heart.
Frances is also survived by two daughters, Diane Valois and her husband Harold Valois of Beacon Falls, CT and Judy Elbert of North Carolina. Left to cherish her memory and honor her legacy are three grand-daughters, Lisa Cavaliere and her companion Preston of Colchester Ebony Elbert and Kimberly Elbert of N.C. Frances also enjoyed the puppy kisses from Fenris- Woof! Frances was pre-deceased by her daughter Judy’s Husband Robby Elbert.
The family wishes to praise and thank the Orchards of Southington for the special care they gave Frances during her time of residency. Also, we would like to thank Beacon Falls Hospice and the staff at Apple Rehab in Cromwell for the special care and making her comfortable during her last days on this earth.
Frances will be truly missed by family and friends but the memories of her will never disappear. After reaching the age of 100 she tried so hard to survive but the end came. We all love you dearly.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday (June 2nd) at 12 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Middletown. Following Mass, the burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Gifts in Memory of Frances Krivanec to St. Jude’s 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
