2025
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for her life, we celebrate the beautiful spirit of Franchelle Net Stewart, who completed her circle of life on July 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her most.
Born on December 7, 1965, in Houston, Texas, Franchelle was the beloved daughter of the late Gracie Lee Stewart and Willie Stewart. She grew up in a home sharing her journey with siblings Glenda Warren, Marcus Stewart (preceded her in death), Kevin Stewart, Michael Stewart, and Reginald Stewart. Her early years were marked by resilience, laughter, and the values of love, hard work, and compassion instilled in her by her parents. A proud graduate of Worthing High School, Class of 1984, Franchelle went on to find fulfillment in her work at Harris Health, where she dedicated several years of her life to helping others with warmth and professionalism. Her coworkers remember her not only for her commitment but for the joy and humor she brought to every room she entered. Franchelle went on to raise three beautiful daughters: Whyneshia Stewart (preceded her in death), Tyneisha Stewart, and Tyria Stewart. To her children, she was a pillar of strength, a source of unconditional love, and a guiding light who taught them how to stand tall in the face of adversity. She cherished time spent connecting with friends and family—laughing until tears came, sharing stories, and reminding everyone around her of the beauty of togetherness. Franchelle was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Gracie Stewart, her dear brother Marcus Stewart, and her beloved daughter Whyneshia Stewart. Though their absence left an ache in her heart, she carried their memories with grace and strength throughout her life.
She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her legacy her daughters Tyneisha and Tyria, her precious grandchildren Ty’Janae, Jayden and Niko, her siblings Glenda, Kevin, Michael, and Reginald, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives she touched with her humor, honesty, and boundless heart.
Franchelle Stewart was a woman of incredible strength—a quiet warrior who faced life’s challenges with courage, determination, and unwavering love. Her presence was a gift, her laughter a balm, and her spirit a beacon for those who knew her. Though she has transitioned from this earthly life, her legacy lives on in every person who was fortunate enough to be loved by her.
She will be missed more than words can ever say.
The services for Ms. Stewart will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Grimes Funeral Home Chapel
