Frank L. Bobola, 96, of Cumberland passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. Frank was the son of the late Antoni and Victoria (Przybyla) Bobola. He was the beloved husband of the late Gertrude (Hamel) Bobola for 51 years. Frank is survived by his loving companion Doris Rondeau.
Frank served in the Navy during WWII. Before retiring, Frank worked at Corning Glass Works in Central Falls, RI. He enjoyed dancing and could be found most Friday evenings dancing polkas and waltzes with Doris at the American Legion Post 14 in Cumberland. Frank was an avid fan of both the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed the challenge of Sudoku and jigsaw puzzles.
He is survived by his son, Steve Bobola and his daughter-in-law, Sara. Frank (Pepe) also leaves three grandchildren: Calvert, Trevor and Holly. He is survived by his brother, John Bobola, of Attleboro, MA and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22nd, from 4:00-6:00 PM, in the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
The burial will be private.

I have many fond memories of my Uncle Frank, also my Godfather. He was always pleasant to be with and quick with a joke or tease. He was a hard worker but also knew how to take time to enjoy life. Gratefully, he was able to enjoy life until the end.
