Frank Sobota Obituary
Frank Joseph Sobota, age 86, passed away after a long illness, on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his home in Berlin. Born in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Frank P. Sobota and Helen M. Hermanowski Sobota.
He is survived by two sons, James Allen Sobota (Lisa), and John Frank Sobota (Staci), three daughters, Carol Ann Sobota Curley, Denise Barone, and Christine Foshay Tirman (Michael), nine grandchildren, Brendan, Joseph, Jessica, Jamie, Kaylee, Matthew, Lindsay, Payton, and Ava, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Smigocki.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at The Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines. Interment will be on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at The Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock.
Letters of condolence can be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Frank’s name to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802. Arrangements are in the care of The Burbage Funeral Home.

Our Lord bless you, eternally, in His Kingdom of Heaven. You and Elaine have been wonderful, caring neighbors and I think of the many times you helped solve my lawn and garden issues, resulting in a healthy lawn: almost as nice as yours!
