It's been years since I've heard your name. It's been years since I've seen you. It's been years since you helped me in so many ways down at the Pioneer Hockey Rink and then at the RIA center. Fred, you were a fantastic and Father-like figure when I was growing up.I have so many fond memories of you at the hockey rink and at your home. Thank you for all that you've done. May you Rest in Peace. My best to the Bloom Family.

When I think of Fred and the Bloom family, I imagine Fred shoveling snow at the original outdoor ice rink behind the high school and then working inside the indoor RIA rink. He also was welcoming to us at Clear Lake campfires. You can always count on Fred and Gail to help out a friend and the community. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Fred was a great person and especially a Rhinelander lion,worked with him often and enjoyed watching hockey with him
