Gail Walter Obituary
Gail (Fenstermacher) Walter, 80, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Hatboro, PA entered into rest on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her residence.
She was the loving wife of Alfred R. Walter for 59 years. Gail was born in Abington, PA to the late Harry Fenstermacher and the late Mildred (Warner) Fenstermacher.
She graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School, class of 1959. Gail was employed in a variety of departments for Hatfield Quality Meats for more than 35 years.
She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and Manna on Main Street. Gail was a member of Bethany Bible Fellowship Church.
She was an avid reader of mystery novels. Gail enjoyed playing card games and feeding the birds. She loved spending time with the family and spoiling the grandkids. Gail also loved traveling to Florida & Arizona, cross-country train trips, and cruises.
She was a spirited, outgoing woman who had a big heart, a great sense of humor, and told it how it was.
In addition to her husband, Gail is survived by her two sons, Daniel A. Walter & wife, Wendy of Souderton, PA, John A. Walter & wife, Emma of Souderton, PA; her grandson, Bryan D. Walter & fiancé, Lauren Cartlidge of Souderton, PA; and her granddaughter, Anna J. Walter of Souderton, PA.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place at Line Lexington Mennonite Cemetery.

Dear Al and Family, we met Gail since we have known Angie Bubnis for years, and enjoyed seeing them when Gail and Al came down to visit Bill & Angie in SWFL. We loved Gail’s way of being her true self, how refreshing. You knew if she liked your company, or not. I know she loved her visits to FL and was sorry when they were prevented from coming down in the last few years due to medical issues. Our prayers are with you Al, after so many years of Marriage to Gail how could you not miss her there. To her children and grandchildren, always know how much you were her pride & joy throughout her life.
She will be watching over all of you, she has established her rules in Heaven and is on the job. I know she is free of the shell that limited her so in the last years of her life, and free to be that amazing spirit that GOD made her to be. May GOD bless her spirit and enjoy her back Home again

Gail was a good friend to my mother, Ginny Baker. One time they were at Shady Maple and my mother saw a Christmas decoration that, after being back home, she wished she would have bought. Gail drove her back to Lancaster the next day for her to purchase it. They had nice times together. May God comfort you during these difficult time.
