Garry Icenhower Obituary
Garry Lloyd Icenhower, age 59, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Icenhower was born June 1, 1958 in Nashville, Arkansas. He was retired from Cooper Tire and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Garry enjoyed hunting and Gospel music but most of all, he absolutely loved his family.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Olan and Florine Icenhower, one brother, Jerry Icenhower and one granddaughter, Taylor Foster.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie Icenhower of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Kandi Icenhower of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Jeromy Carper of Texarkana, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Kadence Foster, Morgan Carper, and Cora Icenhower; three brothers, Dwight Icenhower, Rickey (Bessie) Icenhower and Danny (Suzanne) Icenhower ; two sisters, Linda (Carroll) Endsley and Sandra (Paul) Kemp ; along with many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

My love and prayers go out to the Icenhower family. I've known Gary since I was a kid going to school with Justin and later worked with him as an adult at Cooper Tire. It was always so apparent in the love he had for his wife and kids. God bless you all he was a wonderful man.
