Gary Lee Hinkle

1957 - 2026

  Gary Lee Hinkle, 68, of McCarr, Kentucky, formerly of Canada, Kentucky, departed from this life on Sunday, March 22, 2026, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on June 20, 1957, to the late Cecil Hinkle and Addie Ruth Hensley Hinkle. Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susie; his brothers, Donald and Danny Hinkle; and his sisters, Margaret McCoy and Shelia Taylor.
     He is survived by his brothers, Bruce, Tommy, and Bobby Hinkle, along with many nieces and nephews. Gary was a man who found his peace in the outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt and could most often be found in the hills, doing what he enjoyed most. Those simple moments were where he felt most at home. Gary will be remembered not only for his life, but for the impact he had on those who truly knew him. While his circle may have been small, the love and connection he shared with those closest to him was real and lasting. He leaves behind memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who cared for him and stood by him.
