MR SCOOTER, I WISH I COULD BE THERE FOR YOUR GIRLS! YOU WERE THE BEST UNCLE, I LOVED COMING THERE AND PLAYING IN THE WOODS BEHIND THE HOUSE , YOU COMING UP FROM HUNTING SQUIRRELS AND PLAYING IN THE GAS STATION WHEN WE WERE LITTLE! WHEN I WAS A TEEN ME AND A FRIEND CAME AND STAYED AT THE HOUSE AND WORKED THE PIZZA PLACE! BUT THE ONE THING THAT ALWAYS STICKS IN MY HEAD AND I'M KNOW EVERYBODY REMEMBERS IS HIS HAND SHAKE. LOL WE WOULD ALL LAUGH SO HARD AND I CAN HEAR YOU LAUGH AS WE ALL LAUGHED SO HARD WE COULDNT SAY ANYTHING!!! LOVE YOU AND GOD BE WITH AND LOVE YOU ALWAYS !!! CHRISTIE HEFLIN SANDERS

So sorry for your loss . Mr. Scooter was a big inspiration in my life as in numerous others! It's been over 30 years since I lived in Lewisville and I've never forgotten him and the impact he had on my life. He was loved by so many and will never be forgotten. Love and prayers to my sweet friend Angie and her family. RIP Mr. Scooter

Uncle Scooter was the best. When we came to visit, he was always so much fun. We spent hours in the playhouse he built and going over to the station and getting goodies was great. He will be truly missed by his family and all of his friends.

Thank you to all of Mr. Scooter's family for sharing him with all of Lewisville. He was a great part of most teenagers that grew up in Lewisville and Stamps. No one will ever know how many lives he touched and possibly saved by being there every weekend cooking the best pizza ever and being a voice of reason for those that needed him. His smile is forever in my memories.
