A dear friend, teacher and mentor. Ferg opened his home when I was a graduate student at Edinboro University and we shared many good times; cooking meals, discussing art and watching the Sunday Morning Show together. I am a better person for having known Ferg.

I don't believe I ever met your father but it sounds like he was quite a guy. Find comfort now in celebrating his life. Peace Matt.

"Ferg" was a great potter, a good friend, a fearless and supportive faculty member, and universally loved by his students and fellow art department faculty members.
