George Hamilton, III Obituary
He was the husband of Rose A. (Millisock) Hamilton.
Born in Birdsboro, he was a son of the late George E., Jr. and Mary (Hartz) Hamilton.
Mr. Hamilton retired from Crompton and Knowles Colors Inc. after 36 years of service. He was a lifetime member of Good Fellowship Riding Club, the Gibraltar Fire Company and was a member of the Pikeville Sportsman Club, the Birdsboro Sportsman Club, and the Kulptown Fire Company. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a great hunter and loved horseback riding, motor cycle riding, and riding his tractors. He was loved by many and will be missed by many.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children: Wanda L. (Hamilton), wife of Ronald Angstadt; Roy Hamilton and his companion Colleen Grazioli; and Darlene Myers.
Step-sons: Todd M., husband of Jonnelle Keller, and Michael T. Keller, companion of Ashley Kuntz.
Eight grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.
Sisters: Ruth (Hamilton) Putt, Martha (Hamilton) Lloyd. Predeceased by one sister, Edna (Hamilton) Knepp.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. John's (Gibraltar) U.C.C., 57 St. John's Road, Birdsboro, PA, with Rev. Sterling L. Fritz, officiating.
Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the church.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.

Jeff and I had the pleasure of knowing George for many years when we all worked at Crompton & Knowles. We were reacquainted at Goodfellowship Riding club, and enjoyed reflecting back to the "chemical days" . He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing a very kind man!
