George "Tony" Fellabaum, Jr. Obituary

George W. "Tony" Fellabaum, Jr., 82, of Buena Vista, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022. He was born November 25, 1939 in Elizabeth Township and was the son of the late George W. Fellabaum, Sr., and the late Sarah Jane (McSurdy) Fellabaum. Tony was proud to be a member of the Drywall Finishers - Local 2006. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran serving from 1958 to 1962 and for his service, he received the Good Conduct Medal. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce A. (McGowan) Fellabaum, son, Bill W. (Jackie) Fellabaum of Liberty Borough, daughters, Sherry R. Morrow of Elizabeth and Dawn R. Priest of Youngstown, OH, sons-in-law, Victor Morrow of Jefferson Hills, David Woolheater of Pleasant Hills and David Priest of Austinton, OH, grandchildren, Brittany Morrow, Victor (Alyssa) Morrow, II., Zakery Morrow, Charity Woolheater, Braelynn Woolheater, Mason Priest, Shannon (Ronald) Thomas and Miranda Korieth, granddaughter-in-law, Kelcee Aldridge, great-grandchildren, Victor Morrow, III., Henry Morrow, Cameron Lezak, Brynn Soukup, Easton Morrow, Jillian Morrow, and Nick Thomas. brothers James Fellabaum of Elrama and Robert (Janet) Fellabaum of Buena Vista, sister, Carrie (Joe) Brown of Elizabeth Township, step-brother, Frank Kenski of Mechanicsburg, nieces, nephews, and many friends that were always considered family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Ida (Kenski) Fellabaum, step-brothers, David Kenski and Julius Kenski and his beloved dog, Chyna who he loved to take to his camp. Friends are Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 6-8 pm and Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 9-11 am. at the Gilbert Funeral home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 am. with The Rev. Dennis Handley, officiating. In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. Joyce, Rocky and I extend our deepest condolences to you and your family. He remembers Tony fishing with him down at your house when he was about 10 or 11. He was a great guy and I will remember many happy times with you both. We love you.
