Georgie O'Neal Williams Meyer Lewis

1922 - 2026

Georgie Williams Lewis, a longtime resident, passed away at the age of 103 in Gulf Stream on February 26, 2026.

She started coming to the area when she was a child in the 1920s and 1930s as her parents, Eugene F. Williams and Marie Wight Williams of St. Louis, had a house on North Ocean Blvd.

She was an active member of the Gulf Stream Golf Club, the Gulf Stream Bath & Tennis Club and the Little Club at Gulf Stream.

Her passions included traveling, socializing, golf and bridge. Her philanthropic endeavors embraced education, the arts, and youth services.

She is survived by several children and stepchildren and members of the families of her late brother and sister, Eugene F. Williams, Jr. of St. Louis, MO and Mamie Williams von Gontard of Greenwich, CT.
