Gerald Toole, Jr.
age 46, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Gerald is survived by his loving mother, Joyce Toole; brother, James Toole; uncles: John (Joann) Svitek, Don Toole, and Tony (Denise) Toole; aunts, Carol (Raymond) Malenius, Leona (Tim) Lee, and Diane Glassow; Tamara (late, Robert) Svitek and Clarie (late, Leo) Svitek; and several cousins. Preceded in death by his father Gerald Toole, Sr.; and Uncles Alex Toole. Herman (Marieann) Caine, Richard (Cecil) Ross and James (late, Mary) Svitek.
Gerald attended Gavit High School and went on to work as a roofer. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, and hunting. Gerald also loved being with his friends.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 7109 Calumet Ave., HAMMOND, IN. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. John / St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. This made my whole family very sad as my cousin Gerald was always kind and a very helpful person. We were in Kindergarten at Riley Elementary. ♡ rest in peace ♡
