Geraldine Heerema nee Ettema, age 87, of South Holland, IL passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009. Mrs. Heerema is survived by one daughter: Michele Sargent; two sons: Kenneth (Debra) and Roger (Kendra) Heerema; and six grandchildren: Jonathan, Kevin, Kurt, Luke, Tess & Jacob. She was preceded in death by her husband Egbert G. Heerema; and by one brother and seven sisters: Alyce Ettema, Nicholas Ettema, Effie Vander Myde, Hazel Van Hattem, Cornelia Ebbens, Cora Ruisard, Elsie Nichols, and Jeannette Ettema.
