Gladys Goldberg was an extraordinary mother, born in New York on December 28, 1953. She was the proud mother of two sons, Luis and Jose Acosta, and a loving grandmother to four cherished grandchildren.
Gladys devoted many years of her life to nursing, serving others with dedication, strength, and compassion. She was a resilient woman with a tender heart, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her love for her family and friends was unwavering and evident in everything she did.
As deep as her love was for those around her, her greatest love was for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She often reminded others to “put it in God’s hands,” living out those words through her faith and trust in Him. Gladys faithfully served as a prayer partner at Church by the Glades, never hesitating to speak about Jesus or invite others to attend church with her.
Even as her health declined, her faith remained steadfast. She watched services online, studied the Word of God diligently, and continued to share daily Bible verses with her family and friends, encouraging them in their walk with Christ.
Gladys was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and church community. Her legacy of faith, love, and resilience will live on in all who knew her.

Dear Manny and Angel,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Your mother was a beautiful woman who always knew how to make us laugh. My favorite memory of her is in Brooklyn, watching her lip-syncing to Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."
I know she would want us to treasure those joyful moments the most that made us smile. Sending you both so much love, peace and comfort during this difficult time.
With love,
Kristal
