Glen Fatheree Obituary

Glen Patrick Fatheree was born to Red (Victor) and Feddie (Hause) Fatheree on November 24, 1952, in Victoria, Texas. Patrick passed peacefully at home on October 1, 2025.


Patrick worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 36 years, a job he loved where he made many life long friends. Upon retirement, Patrick hit the road in his RV with his Harley. He traveled across the US and met up with friends for bike rides and met new ones along the way. The stories he could tell! 


Patrick settled at The Summit in New Braunfels in his “House on the Hill.” He met his wife Lorrie who joined him on the Hill where they made a beautiful home together. The back porch told the stories of Family and Friends. Patrick loved the gatherings and was always up for a good time.


Patrick volunteered at Christus Santa Rosa, and Meals on Wheels for many years. He was an avid Houston Astros Fan….Go Stros!!!!


Patrick was preceded in death by his parents.


Patrick is survived by his great love Lorrie and their sweet “Hound Dog” Lexi; daughter, Cassie Lafferty & Son-in-Law Tony; son, Ryan Fatheree; granddaughters, Macie and Karlie Lafferty; brother, Doug Irby; niece, Kim Piland & husband, Buddy; nephew, Bentley Fatheree; great nieces and nephew; his wife’s children and grandchildren, Stefanie & Scott Bullard, Ryan & Vanessa Clay, Halle, Hanna, and Caden and many cousins and friends that he loved dearly.


 


A Celebration of Patrick’s Life will be held at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Sattler, Texas on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM.


 


In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Hope Hospice New Braunfels.

Patrick, I truly enjoyed having you for my Brother. I never had one until we met back in 1991. Meeting my birth family was one on the major events in my life. I’ll miss you. Rest in peace.
